The Mission ran 10 primary schools, 3 high schools, 1 college, 1 pre-primary school, 1 cultural centre, 5 adult schools, 8 Bal Mandirs, 8 coaching classes, 1 painting class, 5 computer classes, 2 spoken Englishclasses and 1 nursery school, where a total of 6911 students received education, while 593 were accommodated in the students1 homes and hostels attached to these institutions.
The Industrial Section of the Sister Nivedita Girls' School gave training to 44 students, while tailoring, embroidery, painting and other crafts were taught at the Mission Ashrama at Entally, and the centre at Guntur (No. of beneficiaries: 20 and 214 respectively).

Under the Math centres, apart from daily worship in the shrine, the following activities were conducted : a high school with classes XI and XII, a Hostel including Harijan hostel and orphanage, a computer class and a charka class at Thrissur, Sanskrit classes in Chennai, Thrissur and Bangalore. 5 primary schools for slum children and industrial schools for girls in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Valsad and in Calicut sub-centre under the Thrissur Math, where a pre-primary school and a small hostel for college girls are also conducted; coaching classes for girls and Sunday schools for children in Chennai, Thrissur, Bangalore, 5 primary school for slum children in Bangalore, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Indore, Varanasi, Valsad and Guntur. Including the computer classes and spoken English classes conducted under the Headquarters at Rasik Bhita, 4456 received education. Mention may be made of the results of the Class X Examination of the school at Thrissur : 195 students appeared and all passed with high marks, while 177 students appeared at the class XII Examination and 172 passed, all with good marks. The Old Age Home for women at Ernakulam (Kerala) had 32 inmates. Religious and cultural classes for women were held regularly in all the centres.
During the period under review, stipends were given from the Headquarters' Ma Sarada Scholarship Fund to 161 deserving needy girl students of different states amounting to a total of Rs. 3,74,8007-. In most of the centres, students received help in various ways. Nivedita Stipend was started to take care of the
education of the ex-students of Nivedita Vidyapeeth, the Mission School at Dakshineswar.
