Our Activities :: Cultural & Spiritual

The headquarters as well as the Math and Mission centres conducted regular classes, lectures, general and text book libraries as well as other cultural activities. A special effort was made to spread Sanskrit education among women and girls. The Math and Mission also published books as well as periodicals, namely, NIBODHATA, in Bengali and SAMVIT, a bi-annual journal in English.

During the period seminars for the development of personality and inculcation of values were conducted for college students at the centres in Thrissur, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, and Trivandrum. Spiritual retreats were held occasionally by the Math and the Mission in and outside the centres.

Special classes, study circles, personal interviews on spiritual matters as well as out door classes are conducted regularly in various centers. Often spiritual retreats are conducted by the centers. The programs consist of meditation, devotional songs and question and answer sessions.
